We are just days away from our Community Fun Day and really getting excited now! We are looking forward to welcoming everyone both young and old to Frank Sheehy Park for a fun filled day of sport and games and will welcome our special guests the Azure Gaels and also our Tidy Towns heroes following their recent National win. There is only one place to be next Saturday – and that’s Frank Sheehy Park!

Well done to all Emmets supporters young and old who turned out for this years St. Patrick’s Day parade. We had great numbers on the day and thankfully the weather stayed dry. It was great to see so much colour on show as our victorious Minor, Ladies and U12 teams lead us around the town. Well done to everyone who took part!
Novice Cup Final
Emmets C 1-11 V Ballydonoghue C 5-7
Our C team put up a great battle against Ballydonoghue in the Novice Cup Final last Saturday night but it wasn’t to be. The visitors hit three first half goals which were very hard to claw back but the lads never gave up and at one stage brought the deficit back to just one point thanks to excellent work from Eddie Browne, Kieran O’Sullivan and John James Buckley. Others to perform well on the night were Cian McCarthy at corner back and last years minor Lorcan Maloney at midfield. We have some lovely footballers coming through so the future is bright at both Junior and Senior level. Hard luck to all involved.
