Our 41 Card Drive takes place every Wednesday night at 9pm in the Clubhouse. New players are always welcome so please come along and bring a friend.

County Minor League Div 3A – Semi-Final
Churchill 3-09 V Emmets 2-07
Our minors put up a great fight on Friday night last against a strong Churchill side but came up short after a spirited performance from all involved. Huge thanks to everyone who came along to support the team on the night and throughout the campaign. These are a great bunch of young lads and will be back!
County Senior League Div 2 – Round 4
Ballymacelligott 3-14 V Emmets 1-11
Similar to our last County League game our Seniors had the upper hand for the first 30 minutes and went in at half-time a point up but just couldn’t keep Ballymac at bay for the second half. David Keane had a fine opening 30 minutes hitting 1-02, the goal coming after some excellent work by Cathal Keane and Maurice Whelan while Vinny Horan and Aidan Breen kept the home side in touch with some excellent scores throughout. Conor Cox fired over his third point of the afternoon to put Emmets two in front just after the break but Ballymac really upped their performance soon after, getting to grip with Noel Kennelly’s influence out around the middle and really making hay counter-attacking at every opportunity. To Listowel’s credit they never gave up and fought all the way to the finish but the home side were not to be denied and had some good performers all over the field with Eanna Reidy, Shane Reilly and Vinny Horan all showing well. Emmets are in a tough position now in Division 2 and will need to start getting results sooner rather than later. Best for Listowel were Niall Collins, Cormac Mulvihill, David Keane and Noel Kennelly.

Emmets Ladies are having a used clothes collection this coming Saturday May 19th. Please support with a good clean out of clothes, shoes, handbags, belts, bed linen, towels and curtains (no pillows or duvets please). Bags can be dropped off at the clubhouse between 10.30 and 4pm.
